Our bay door gaskets were getting pretty tired. I had a few with small cuts in them from loading and unloading. In some areas it had started to slip off the edge of the flange, especially on the bottom edge where it is easy to lean on them when reaching inside the bay. They had also become more stiff over time which increased the force needed to close the bay doors.
The new microwave / oven has been installed! Removing the old one is straightforward, especially since George and Pat figured out how to do it and showed us the proper use of the Ekornes foot rest as an aid.
Smartphones, tablets, iPads have created a basket full of USB chargers. We found this little number through our home automation supplier a couple of months ago. At the time, they only had white available. But now black ones, which will work in our coach, have been released and are due to be shipped in a couple of weeks!
Untreated aluminum has very good corrosion resistance primarily because it forms a thin (but tough) oxide layer that prevents further oxidation. This aluminum oxide layer is mostly impermeable and it adheres aggressively to the parent metal. If damaged mechanically, the aluminum’s oxide layer self repairs!
Here are a few pics of the resonator install, this is what worked on a 2003 with tag axle. Different years will have different pipe diameters coming off the turbo, etc, so do your homework before you buy parts.
We installed a WiFi Ranger in our coach to improve reception of weak WiFi signals and lower power campground signals. At the time this was the WiFiRanger Home and WiFiRanger Mobile (really a Ubiquity Bullet with custom firmware) combination. Later we updated this to the Go2 combination, mainly due to a poor firmware update which bricked our Ranger.
We replaced our kitchen faucet with a Grohe Ladylux Plus and we love it! We had a functional/aesthetic height restriction to no more than 13” because of an upper cabinet, located above the sink.
