Resetting ABS Brain
When your ABS light comes on, you can read the “blink” code by using the the diagnostic switch under the dash board cowl. The the blink code will determine which ABS sensor is not doing its job and caused the dash light to trigger.
Before you go and replace that abs sensor, try the following. We have had good luck with simply re-seating the connectors on the brain end of the abs controller and having the abs light go out and stay out. This has worked for us twice, simply unplug each one and then plug it back in, one at a time so you don’t get them mixed up.
